Difficult Takes A Day, Impossible Takes A Week

Now that we have the formalities out of the way, let's get into the good stuff. Let me catch you up to speed as to where we are currently.

Highlands - One of the main reasons that we are into this business is our love for taking homes and restoring them with new life. Which is what makes this project one of our most exciting this year. We took on this house in March and this year, the home turned 100 years old. There is not one inch of this house that is not being restored or refinished. So far, we have completed demo, a new roof, exterior masonry, and framing.

Garfield - This project is our only addition at the moment. We started in april of this year and just wrapped up all of the framing. There is something about a new build that is so fun to watch. To see an entire new addition on the back of this house is crazy when just a few months ago it was a lawn and patio.

13th Ave. - Residential isn't the only thing we do. We also have a couple of commercial remodels going too. Our good friends at Petroleum Field Services brought us in to remodel an extra garage space into their drafting offices. We are just two weeks out from finishing this one and it will be nice to see the unused space transformed.

Harrison - We teamed up with our exceptional friends at Mandil Inc. on our most recent project. This house is so unique in it's own way; it is going to be phenomenal once we are done with it. The majority of the remodel is taking place in the kitchen but we are touching every room of the house. We just started so the pictures only show a little bit. With all the temporary walls up it was a little tough to get good pictures.

Castle Pines - We are on the very last details on this job but it turned out so well that I could not let it by. We worked with Mandil Inc. on this project for a good portion of the year and they turned this house into a true piece of art. They did a great job of finding out what the client's taste was and exploiting that taste to perfection. Here are a few shots from during the project. I will make sure to snap a few pictures for you all when we do our final walk through. (Pictures will be up soon)

As I finish posting this blog, we already have three more jobs that have begun. Stay tuned!

Allow Us To Introduce Ourselves

Let us introduce you to our team.

Adam - The fearless leader.  After several years in the restaurant business, Adam decided that it was time for a change. He started off by starting a landscaping company
which was great during the summer but he found himself returning to the restaurants once winter took effect. After a few summers of landscaping, Adam wanted something a little more consistent. With his construction knowledge from flipping houses with his parents, he knew that construction was right up his ally. Five years later... He is running one of the top remodeling companies in Colorado.

Jeff - "Job Site Jeff." Jeff met Adam a few years back and always had a common interest, business. In  2007 Adam and Jeff decided to join forces. Jeff is an owner of an organic cleaning company which when merging with adam became a part of Top 2 Bottom. Jeff helps out with project management, office management, sales, and strategy.

Jason - The man with a plan. Jason was a very skilled carpentry sub-contractor for Top 2 Bottom, when he had an injury that kept him from his skill. When his injury took place and he was no longer to perform carpentry Adam and Jeff thought that he could bring is attention to detail to  a hands on project management position. He now runs multiple projects and helps with all the detail items that come up in all of our projects.

Gustavo & Diego - What can we say? We love these guys. Gustavo and Diego have been with Top 2 Bottom since the get go. There is almost nothing these two can't or won't do. Between the two of these guys, they handle all or our... well everything. On any project you will find these guys TCB'n (takin care of business).

You can also look forward to seeing our many sub-contractors throughout the blog.

I hope that you have a better understanding for who we are.  Hopefully it helps to put a face to the names.

Welcome!

Purpose:
Every day that goes by something changes in our world. Whether it be, starting a new project, finishing one up, or scratching our heads and asking "how in the world do we get "he who spits" to spit?" So... what we have decided to do is to share all of our experiences with the rest of the world. There is just so much in a day that we see and experience, that it's almost unfair to not share it with all of you.

How this is going to work:
Weekly (hopefully) we are going to post different things that happen in our business that we think are interesting, funny, frustrating, or just peculiar. We will be posting photos of projects so that you will be able to see how everything is coming along.

What we need from you:
Please feel free to post comments, concerns, suggestions, or don't do anything just sit back and enjoy the show.
